- Melt butter in pan over medium heat.
- Add milk in to the pan. Then add sugar and mix until it’s fully dissolved.
- Turn off the heat. Let it cool down a little until it becomes lukewarm.
- Add active dry yeast into the mixture and give it a quick whisk. Set aside and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, add flour, egg and liquid mixture. Mix and then knead for 10 minutes.
- The dough is ready when it’s no longer sticking on the side of the bowl.
- Put dough on a clean surface and shape it into a big ball. Put it in a large bowl. Cover and let it rise for about 45 minutes or until it doubles in size.
- Form the dough in to a log and make 16 slices.
- Take a slice and roll until it elongates to approximately a foot long.
