Annatto Oil or Atsuete Oil is a very popular condiment when eating chicken inasal. Eating chicken inasal will not be complete without it. Drizzle it over steamed rice and it tastes amazingly good.

  • In a sauce pan, combine all the ingredients and give it a quick stir. Let it simmer over low heat.
  • When the garlic is soft. It's ready to be transferred in a bowl.
  • Use a strainer to strain the oil. Set the garlic aside for later use and that's it! You have annatto oil ready for use.
  • Annatto oil is commonly used as an ingredient to a dish or use it to add flavour to your rice. Enjoy!
