  • Dipping Sauce

    Filling
  • In a hot pan, add cooking oil and add onion. Sauté until it becomes translucent.
  • Add garlic and sauté until it turns light brown.
  • Add carrots and sauté.
  • Sprinkle with ground black pepper and add cabbage, togue (bean sprouts) and oyster sauce. Give it a quick mix and turn off the heat.
  • Let it cool down and drain excess juice in a strainer.
  • Wrapping
  • Place 3 heaping tablespoons of the vegetable filling diagonally on the lumpia wrapper. Roll neatly, fold and tuck both ends. Use water to moisten and seal the edge of the wrapper. Repeat this process and set aside.
  • Dipping Sauce
  • Combine all the ingredients for the dipping sauce in a jar. Put the lid on and give it a good shake.
  • Frying
  • In a hot pan, add oil about 1/2 inch depth.
  • Add rolls in to the pan, leaving 1/2 inch space in between. Do not overcrowd the pan.
  • Fry each side for about 2 minutes or until it appears golden brown. Serve with dipping sauce. Enjoy!
