Do you like the taste of the traditional pork Sisig but concerned about its fat content? Look no further because this Tofu Sisig will be your new favourite.

The taste is very traditional yet it’s the healthier alternative, I’d say, so you’ll feel less guilty. Try it and I’m sure you’ll keep wanting for more.

  • Fry tofu pieces. Once they've all been fried, set aside.
  • Sauce
  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, oyster sauce, Knorr Liquid Seasoning, lemon juice and ground black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well-incorporated. Make sure there are no clumps and it's smooth. Set aside.
  • In the same pan where you fried the tofu, melt butter over low-medium heat. Don't let it burn.
  • Add onion and saute until it becomes soft.
  • Add garlic and saute until it turns light golden brown.
  • Add green and red chilies and saute for about a minute. Let the chilis release their juice and aroma.
  • Add the sauce mixture into the pan and mix. Cook it for about 5 minutes. When the chilis are soft, turn off the heat.
  • Add the fried tofu pieces into the pan and coat them with the sauce and it's ready to be served. Enjoy!
