Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg ground beef (or lean ground pork)
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce (or patis)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup carrot
  • 1 large potato (peeled and cubed)
  • 1 red bell pepper (deseeded and diced)
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • salt and pepper
  • parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
  1. Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and saute until it becomes translucent.
  3. Add garlic and saute until it becomes golden light brown.
  4. Add ground meat into the skillet. Stir while cooking until meat has crumbled and cooked evenly.
  5. Add fish sauce, salt and pepper and tomato sauce. Stir to incorporate the ingredients.
  6. Add diced carrot, potato, red bell pepper and mix for about 8 minutes.
  7. Add green peas, raisins and mix the ingredients. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  8. Turn off heat. Sprinkle some chopped parsley on top before serving. Enjoy!
